Just wanted to mention that we are having some crazy weather forecasts. The High Sierra's are known for their unpredictable weather, but the forecasts keep changing daily. As of now the forecast is for the upper 70's which should be warm and beautiful. The weather will still be cold at night (in the 40's) so you and your dog will definitely need warm jackets/sweatshirts for the evenings and early mornings, and a blanket if you plan to leave your dog in the car or outside by the 4H patio while you have dinner. 

You will need warm weather clothing for the day, especially since you will be very active. My suggestion is to pack clothing you can layer if needed. Light weight for warm weather, but long sleeves or jackets you can add on if necessary. You will be having way too much fun to keep going back and forth to the hotel to change!

My best suggestion is to keep checking the weather forecasts for ZEPHYR COVE, NEVADA.

Do not look at Tahoe or South Lake Tahoe. The Lake has many micro climates and even a 10 minute drive can mean a big change in the weather.
